Volunteering India is a Jaipur‑based, non‑profit volunteer organization that connects caring individuals with grassroots projects in rural Rajasthan, focusing on environment protection, child education, healthcare and community development. All of us have heard much about saving Mother Earth through summits, speeches and articles, but real change begins when each of us says “Myself” and decides to act for the society we live in.
Inspired by the saying “The journey of thousand miles begins with one step”, Volunteering India was started by a small group of people with a burning passion to improve the lives of the downtrodden and neglected around them. Their commitment to making a difference shaped what Volunteering India is today—a platform for volunteers from around the world to turn compassion into action.
Volunteering India, a subsidiary of the Nimra Earth Welfare Society (Regd. under Rajasthan Societies Reg No. 820/08), is an independent, non‑profit, non‑governmental volunteer organization based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. We work for the all‑round development of rural India by connecting volunteers with meaningful grassroots projects.
We create safe, meaningful and well‑supported volunteer experiences that benefit rural communities in Rajasthan and give you a real taste of India.
We work with villages, schools and local partners to support real community needs in education, health and development.
We arrange airport pickup, safe stays, meals, orientation and field guidance so you feel confident from day one.
We mix volunteering with eco and rural tourism, workshops and local visits so you learn India’s culture from within.
Even after you return home, you can stay involved through online volunteering, sponsorship and sharing our mission.

A group of friends with a similar ideology forms the core of Volunteering India. This core team, made up of people from different professional backgrounds, administers the activities of the organization and guides its vision. A dynamic and educated group of executives puts the core committee’s plans into action, especially in educating rural communities about environmental protection and sustainable development. Along with them, Volunteering India has a strong network of skilled youth who support surveys, social education and awareness projects across rural areas.
